At Heirisson we aim to make a difference in people’s lives locally and globally – doing our part to make the world safer, healthier, and more equitable. We make a difference not only by providing emergency support, but most importantly by empowering people to do things for themselves - creating sustainable change in their lives. Our projects include: - A program of projects to address the serious issue of street homelessness in Perth
- Support for a team of Perth dentists who provide free dental to Aboriginal communities in the Kimberley
- Supporting students to attend Rotary’s National Youth Science Forum
- Contributing time, expertise and funds to support Girrawheen Senior High School
- Participation in a 2-way international Student Exchange program with countries in Europe, South America and Asia
- Providing support for major events (eg ANZAC Day, Australia Day)
- Fund raising activities to support these projects such as our Duck Derby at Hillarys
