Prachi is a very impressive, intelligent, passionate and articulate year 10 Ellenbrook Secondary Student who has set up her own YouTube Channel of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) so as to inform, inspire and empower women and young women into equality within society.
Prachi points out that in Australia gender inequality exists and is unacceptable with currently only 25.4% of women in full time employment, with women earning 14.% less than men, meaning that women need to work 54.4 extra days a year, which is nearly two months, just to come to the same pay rate as the male.
Prachi's favourite statement is the women are "Iron-Women" as "Fe" is the atomic symbol for iron which is combined with "male."

Prachi commnces that video by acknowledging the support of the Rotary Club of Heirisson and the Young Australia League (YAL).

Exchange student, Nils Braun will arrive in Perth on Wednesday 24th July at terminal 1 at 3.05pm.
It is always nice to have a reception group at the airport to make them feel welcome.
As such, if anyone is available and wishes to attend, suggest we meet at the International Arrival gate at Terminal 1 at 3.00pm next Wednesday. If you are able to attend, please let me know so we can keep an eye out for everyone.
It has been traditional in the past that members set up a Roster to have the exchange student to their home for dinner, or go out to dinner, or movies etc, each Wednesday. This allows us all to get to know the exchange student better and gives them a wider view of life in Australia.
We will start circulating a list in the next week or so as he settles in. President Allan.
