Hi Folks!
Last week..........
Our last Rotary Exchange Student James Shoebridge, gave us a tremendously interesting talk of his exchange experience in Poland. The writer for one was under the impression that it was a difficult exchange but we soon learned that James did very well indeed mixing with his Polish families and friends. James also displayed an excellent bunch of pics of beautiful Poland. Well done and a big thanks to James.
......
Our thoughts are still very much with: Allan, who has undergone surgery to his neck, is still recouperating and on the improve so hopefully we'll see him back at the club soon.
......
Folks, please consider joining Don, Jim and others at the Joint Clubs Dinner (details below) where no doubt Dee Buckland, DG 21/22 will talk about the ways Rotary is changing to combine the Northern and Southern districts and how we will throw our doors open to everyone. The COD WRAP!!
A very enjoyable evening was had by all who attending last Saturday's Black and White (with masquerade masks) Change Over Dinner Party. Dining was excellent and the view of the Matagarup Bridge and stadium, bright with colorful lights set the tone for a great evening. Rod Slater delighted everyone with his antics and specs mounted headlights and as normal, the fines were had and the money pot was very light (with notes)!! YAY. Greg Hunter presented Ahmed Siddique's wife June and Ken Mullin presented Greg Hebble (from Give a Feed) with Paul Harris Fellows Medals for their outstanding contributions to Rotary Fundraising and Community Events. Also talks by Dee Buckland, Greg Hunter, Robyn Arndt, Keiren Shun and of course our outgoing and incoming Presidents Don Burnside and Don Burnside, were warmly received. As President; Don has provided and continues to provide much needed direction and management and his report included financial and activity statements for our club. He was warmly thanked by all attending. The evening ended up with some upbeat music and singing provided by that much loved crooner,
Ole Blue Eyes, Rick Fletcher.
A big thanks to Justin Walker for the following pics.

STOP PRESS
Just received from Greg Hebble (Give a Feed) and receiver of Paul Harris Fellow Medal on Saturday night.
Hi President Don,
I'd like to thank you and your members for the opportunity to share the above event on Saturday night as both Julie & I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
More importantly I'd like to pass on my appreciation for my Paul Harris Fellow 😀
I'm very humbled to have received such a prestigious award and in particular when it was in support of such a great organisation like Foodbank WA and the RC Heirisson initiative of Give A Feed!!
As mentioned on Saturday night, your Club should be very proud of the association and support that you have provided to this campaign for 10 years. This is a huge commitment & achievement, not to mention the over $500k in contributions from the encouragement of your members and others in providing much needed Food Hampers to those most in need in our community.
Kind Regards,
Greg Hebble
