Last week.....
We heard from our own Ken Mullin about the impact of humans on the planet. Ken always makes a fantastic presentation and this was no exception. For starters, the growth in world population in the last 100 years shows a dramatic exponential increase however, it appears to be levelling off somewhat. There are many major issues that are of great concern including, climate change and getting pollution and CO2 under control, coral bleaching, poverty, the increase in military spending to name a few. The presentation was extremely worrying and showed that we need to urgently pay attention to all these worrying trends. Ken, would you be happy to share the PowerPoint presentation to those interested?
